Plan, direct and manage the daily operations of a computer operations department.
Lead a team of support personnel who troubleshoot IT issues.
Implement policies and procedures regarding how problems are identified, received, documented, distributed, and corrected.
Manage the ERP implementation project from conceptualization through initiation and execution including project scope and budget administration.
Provide technical support to employees and staff, assisting with network access, application software operations, and equipment.
Maintain the company website and provide expertise in security-related issues such as user logins and passwords.
Manage crisis situations such as advanced technical hardware and software problems.
Schedule upgrades and security backups to all hardware and software systems.
Plan, develop, and implement the budget, obtain competitive pricing from suppliers, and ensure cost effectiveness.
Accurately evaluate user needs and system functionality, ensuring company equipment meets the needs of the end user.
Evaluate new and existing software to determine usability within existing company IT framework.
Recommend appropriate maintenance strategies to ensure uninterrupted systems usage and proper backup and recovery procedures are adhered to.
Recommend adjustments to systems and/or equipment to ensure cost efficient and effective systems/equipment infrastructure.
Ensure maximum issue resolutions in minimum time.
Evaluate new information systems products or services and suggest changes to existing products or services to better aide the end user.
